Haryana Technical Education Department has directed all the self financing engineering colleges and institutes and self financial polytechnics in the State to disburse the salary of the faculty only through their bank accounts linked with Aadhaar number.

Haryana constitutes Committee to investigate seven year old girl Adhya's death in Fortis Hospital Gurugram

The committee constituted by Haryana Government to investigate the case of death of seven-year old girl Aadhya, has indicted Fortis Hospital, Gurugram for grave negligence, lapse, unethical and unlawful act. A case will be registered against the hospital and notice has been issued to cancel the license of blood bank of hospital. In addition, Haryana Urban Development Authority will also be requested to explore the possibilities for cancellation of lease of land given to the hospital.

Haryana additional advocate genera Naveen Kaushik, who had allegedly helped the accused facing charges for the death of 16-year-old Junaid Khan, resigned from his post on Wednesday.
